ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico Volleyball bounced back from dropping the opening set to complete a 2-0 weekend with a four-set victory over Nevada (23-25, 25-20, 25-17, 25-15) Sunday afternoon at The Pit - Powered by Nusenda.
The Lobos (4-10) now draw even in conference matchups with a 2-2 record in Mountain West play heading into next weekend’s at UC Davis (Oct. 8 and 10).

Addison France led three Lobos in double figures with 14 kills on .294 hitting, adding seven digs and a solo block. Mina Stanojevic posted a double-double with 13 kills and a team-high 13 digs, while Reagan Miller finished with 11 kills on a team-best .500 hitting percentage. Uliana Yastrub contributed eight kills on .389 hitting with seven digs and two blocks, and Campbell Hollister added eight kills and a team-high three blocks.
Madeleine Miller directed the offense with 46 assists, adding eight digs, four kills and two blocks. Camila Canedo collected 10 digs, while Ella Joesting supplied seven. Hollister, Stanojevic and Madeleine Miller each served two aces, with Joesting adding one.
New Mexico outhit Nevada .284 to .164 and held advantages in kills (58-46), assists (53-41), digs (55-42) and aces (7-4). The Wolf Pack led 10-6 in blocks. UNM improved its hitting percentage in each set, progressing from .176 in the opener to .263, .345 and .364, while holding Nevada to .000 hitting in the fourth as the Lobos sealed the deal.

Sunday’s match drew 1,305 fans to The Pit - Powered by Nusenda, bringing UNM’s average attendance through four regular-season matches and two exhibitions to 1,498. UNM’s total attendance through those six matches (8,990) has already surpassed the entire 2025 season at the Johnson Center (8,711).
SET ONE — NEVADA 25, NEW MEXICO 23
New Mexico erased an early six-point deficit but came up short in a tightly contested opening set. After Nevada surged ahead 7-1, Addison France put down back-to-back kills and Campbell Hollister served consecutive aces during a 4-0 run that brought UNM within 8-6. The Lobos pulled even at 12-12 on a team-up on the block from Hollister and Madeleine Miller, then turned a 15-13 deficit into a 17-15 lead with yet another 4-0 run that included a kill from Yastrub.
The teams traded points down the stretch, with Reagan Miller’s fourth kill of the day giving UNM a 21-20 advantage heading into crunch time. Nevada answered with consecutive points and took three of the final four rallies after the Lobos tied things up at 22-all. Stanojevic fought off one set point with a kill before Paige Thies closed it out for the Wolf Pack.
SET TWO — NEW MEXICO 25, NEVADA 20
The Lobos responded in the second set, overcoming a 3-0 deficit to even the match. UNM drew level at 5-5 and took its first lead at 8-7 on a Yastrub kill. With the score tied at nine, consecutive kills from Reagan Miller, Hollister and Stanojevic pushed the Lobos ahead 12-9 and prompted a Nevada timeout. Two more Hollister kills surrounding a Stanojevic ace later stretched the advantage to 16-12.
Nevada cut the margin to one three times, but UNM maintained its lead before creating separation with a late four-point run. Madeleine Miller opened the stretch with a solo block, then added a kill before Stanojevic capped the run with another to make it 23-18. Two Nevada service errors supplied the Lobos’ final two points to secure the set. Hollister, Reagan Miller and Stanojevic each recorded three kills, while Madeleine Miller added two kills and the solo block.
SET THREE — NEW MEXICO 25, NEVADA 17
New Mexico used a six-point run midway through the third set to pull away and take a 2-1 match lead. After nine ties through 9-9, an Addison France kill and consecutive Nevada errors gave the Lobos a 12-9 advantage. The Wolf Pack trimmed the margin to one before UNM rattled off six straight points, including two France kills, a Mina Stanojevic ace and an Uliana Yastrub kill, to build an 18-11 cushion.
The Lobos extended their lead to 23-14 with consecutive kills from Reagan Miller and Stanojevic followed by an Ella Joesting ace. Nevada answered with three straight points before a Stanojevic kill and a Wolf Pack attack error secured the set. France led UNM with four kills, while Stanojevic and Yastrub added three apiece. Madeleine Miller, Stanojevic and Joesting each served an ace.
SET FOUR — NEW MEXICO 25, NEVADA 15
New Mexico took control with an early eight-point run and closed out the four-set victory with its most efficient offensive frame of the match. Trailing 3-2, the Lobos surged ahead 10-3 behind three kills apiece from France and Hollister, along with a block from Hollister and Yastrub. UNM continued to build its advantage, reaching a 10-point lead at 16-6 on a Stanojevic kill.
Nevada cut a 17-7 deficit to 17-11 with four consecutive points, but the Lobos answered with four straight of their own. Stanojevic started the response with a kill, Madeleine Miller followed with an ace, and a Stanojevic-Hollister block and France kill restored the 10-point cushion at 21-11. Reagan Miller delivered the match-ending kill to seal the 25-15 win. France paced UNM with five kills in the set, followed by Stanojevic with four and Hollister with three, as the Lobos hit .364 with 15 kills and just three attack errors.
ALL-TIME SERIES
With this weekend’s two-match sweep, New Mexico has now won five in a row over Nevada – the Lobos have won 23 of their 26 meetings with Nevada since the series began in 2012. The Lobos won the first nine matchups and have taken 14 of 15 since Nevada’s two wins in 2017. UNM swept both meetings in 2025, winning 3–0 at home on Oct. 30 and on the road Nov. 13.
