ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s basketball team concludes its preseason schedule on Sunday afternoon with an exhibition matchup with Arizona State in the Power Ford Tip-Off Series. Game time at The Pit – Powered by Nusenda is 2:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on MW+.

Season ticket holders are reminded to log into their account at GoLobos.com/myaccount to reserve their seats for Sunday’s game at the cost of $5 per ticket. Individual game tickets for the Power Ford Tip-Off Series are also available at GoLobos.com/tickets, beginning at $15 plus fees.

The game is the third of three preseason games for the Lobos in 2026-27. New Mexico opened its exhibition schedule on Oct. 11 with a 99-89 win at Oklahoma State, followed by a 92-64 home victory over Washington State last Sunday in the first game of the Power Ford Tip-Off Series. Jake Hall, the preseason Mountain West Player of the Year, is averaging 26.5 ppg in the exhibitions to lead UNM.

The Lobos were picked as the preseason favorite in the Mountain West. New Mexico returns three players from last year’s 26-11 NIT semifinalist squad, including Hall and Uriah Tenette, both preseason All-Mountain West selections.

Arizona State was picked 12th in the preseason Big XII poll as Randy Bennett takes over the program after 25 years at Saint Mary’s. The Sun Devils will be the first power conference school to visit The Pit – Powered by Nusenda since Colorado in 2018-19.

Sunday’s exhibition marks the first time the teams have met in the preseason. The Lobos lead the all-time series 47-39, including victories in five of the last six regular season matchups.

The Power Ford Tip-Off Series games also mark the first men’s basketball games for UNM on the new streaming service MW+.
