ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The New Mexico Lobos are back on the road, seeking their first win in Hawai'i in 10 years as UNM faces the Hawai'i Rainbow Warriors at 8:30 pm Mountain Time.
The Lobos are 4-1 and are receiving votes in both major polls, the AP and the Coaches Poll. Hawai'i is 1-5 this season and 0-3 in the Mountain West. Their lone win is a 29-19 win over New Mexico State.
Hawai'i is led by the conference's passing leader, Micah Alejado, while UNM's defense will look to contain him, as UNM allows 10.6 points per game and under 260 yards per game overall.
The Lobos will be without two defensive starters, Jaxton Eck and Frankie Edwards III.
