ALBUQUERQUE,  N.M. --- The Lobo offensive line has been named one of 25 offensive lines to the Joe Moore Award Midseason Honor Roll. The Lobos have used plenty of players on the line this season, with starters Cole Millward, Jaymar Tasi, Kaden Robnett, Malik Aliane, and Tyler Lawrence, along with Danzel Newell, getting most of the reps.

Per joemooreaward.com, "Founded in 2015 and presented by the Foundation for Teamwork, the Joe Moore Award is earned by the most outstanding offensive line unit in college football, the only major award in the sport given to a group rather than an individual. There are no personal statistics to chase and no individual name on the trophy. There is only the standard Joe Moore demanded: toughness, teamwork, and five men playing as one. It’s voted on by the people who would know, every FBS offensive line coach, former linemen in the media, and a legacy committee of the men who played for and coached alongside him."

UNM's offensive line was last honored with midseason honors in 2016. The Lobos are averaging 208.8 yards on the ground with 18 rushing touchdowns. UNM 's offensive line is the veteran unit of the offense, an offense which has seen 31.2% of all snaps taken by freshmen this year.

The Lobos are 4-1 and receiving votes in both polls. UNM takes on Hawai'i on Saturday night at 8:30 pm Mountain Time.
