Lobo Talk is Tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 8, Live at Sandia Sports Bar

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It's Tuesday night, and we are back at Sandia Resort Sports Bar for the second edition of Lobo Talk, once again at 7 - 8 p.m.  The show promises to be a great time, and fans won't want to miss it. All year long, Lobo Talk will take place in the beautiful Sandia Sports Bar at Sandia Resort & Casino. Tonight's show will be broadcast on 770 AM/96.3 FM KKOB.  Fans can call with questions at 505-243-3333 and can listen online right here.  Just in time for the New Mexico State game, Lobo Talk will return to its familiar home of The Sports Animal KNML 95.9 FM/610 AM.

Lobo Talk will take place upstairs in the beautiful Sandia Sports Bar.  The Sandia Sports Bar adds a casual element of fun, great food, local craft beers, and inspired cocktails. Unwind indoors and outdoors, taking in the most amazing views of the Sandia Mountains while enjoying over 50 state-of-the-art televisions. Sandia's menu features terrific sports bar favorites from wings to burgers, plus authentic New Mexican cuisine, and even surf and turf options. Sandia Sports Bar has something for everyone.

Joining Coach Eck and Voice of the Lobos Robert Portnoy will be offensive line coach Cody Booth and guest player Malik Aliane. The show runs 7-8 pm on Tuesday nights during game week throughout the season. Last week saw a record crowd at Sandia Sports Bar. 

Sandia Resort & Casino is located off I-25, Exit 234, which is the Tramway exit, and the entrance to the Sandia Resort & Casino Sports Bar is best accessed through the back entrance of Sandia. Fans who can’t make it to Sandia Resort, or those out of the area, can catch the show online right here. In 2026, the show will air on UNM's official Facebook page via Facebook Live.

New Mexico hosts Mercyhurst at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 12, and single-game tickets and mini plans are available.

For fans who can't make it to the Mercyhurst game, it will be the first Lobo Football game to be broadcast exclusively on MW+.
