ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico Women’s Cross Country opened the 2026 season with three runners at the Lobo Invitational at the UNM North Course, with newcomer Noel Barlette placing first in the collegiate women’s 5K ahead of Anya Belisle (3rd) and Kylie Feeney (4th).
Barlette crossed in 18:13.98 in her Lobo debut to finish first overall, with unattached Lobo Millie Robinson (18:31.08) finishing second. Belisle (18:32.07) and Feeney (18:36.22) were just behind, with three more unattached Lobo women comprising the rest of the top seven. Meadow Drebert (18:47.61) finished fifth, with freshman Luca de Waal (19:02.99) sixth and Charlotte O’Meara (19:14.79) in seventh.
Also running unattached, Rhys Crawford (16:07.60) won the men’s collegiate 5K to open his season.
