New Mexico hosts UTEP in MW Opener

The Lobos host the UTEP Miners on Saturday, October 3 at 2 pm, what is shaping up to be a perfect weather day in Albuquerque at the start of the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. The game sits perfectly between the first Mass Ascension and the first Balloon Glow.

UNM leads the all-time series 43-33-3, and this is the first meeting between the two teams since a 27-10 win for UNM in 2022. It's the first conference meeting since 1998. New Mexico and UTEP were both members of the Western Athletic Conference together (1968-98) and the Border Conference (1935-61).
