ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Lobos host the Nevada Wolf Pack in their second conference match on the schedule Sunday at 1 p.m. MT.
Admission is free, and for those unable to attend, the match will be streamed on MW+ with live stats also available.
UNM enters the match 4-2-2 overall, 1-0-0 in the Mountain West following a 3-0 win over San José State Thursday, while Nevada is 3-7-0 on the season, 0-1-0 in the Mountain West following a 2-0 loss to Wyoming on Thursday.

The trio of Nicole Anderson, Alysa Whelchel and Presley Devey were responsible for all three goals in UNM’s win over San José State on Thursday, with Devey assisting on two goals, Anderson scoring two with an assist on one and Whelchel scoring a goal and assisting on a goal.
Anderson finished with a season-high five points, assisting on Whelchel’s goal before recording a brace, her second of the season and fourth of her career. Thursday also was the fifth multiple-goal match of her career.
Devey assisted on Whelchel’s goal and on Anderson’s first goal for the fourth and fifth assists of her career, a career high for assists in a match, and first and second assists of the season.
Whelchel assisted on Anderson’s second goal, with Whelchel finishing with a season-high three points and was the third time with three points in a match in her career.
The three also lead the Lobos in points with Anderson leading the team with six goals and 13 points, Devey second with three goals, two assists and eight points and Whelchel leading UNM with four assists and has six points.
Anderson has also accounted for two game-winning goals with Whelchel recording the game-winning goal against the Spartans.
GETTING IT DONE IN 15:16
The Lobos scored three goals in a span of 15:16 for the 3-0 win in the conference opener.
The win snapped a streak of five ties against the Spartans and the most goals scored by the Lobos against SJSU since 2016. It was UNM’s first home win in the series since 2013 and the second time holding the Spartans scoreless in the series.
It also marked the third time that UNM has scored three or more goals and the second shutout this season.
SERIES VS. NEVADA
UNM is 13-1-2 all-time against Nevada, 6-0-1 at home.
The Lobos have won the last four matches in the series, outscoring the Wolf Pack 13-3 in that span.
Overall, the Lobos have outscored the Wolf Pack 32-10 in the series and 17-5 in home matches.
UNM has shutout Nevada nine times in the series, four times at home.
The last time the two teams played in Albuquerque, Presley Devey recorded a hat trick and Nicole Anderson recorded a brace in a 5-2 Lobo win. Devey scored her first two goals in the first 5:59. It was also the first time UNM had two multiple-goal scorers in a match since Sept. 28, 2008.
ABOUT THE OPPONENT
Nevada enters the match with wins over Pacific (2-1), Portland State (4-1) and Arkansas-Pine Bluff (11-1). The Wolf Pack share a common non-conference opponent with the Lobos in Northern Arizona (Nevada lost 3-0). Nevada is 3-3-0 on the road.
Opponents have scored 19 goals against Nevada, compared to 18 goals by the Wolf Pack. Opponents are also outshooting Nevada 127-95 with a 75-47 margin in the second half. The Wolf Pack have been held scoreless in six matches.
Leslie Jacobo Duran has scored four of Nevada’s goals to lead the team with eight different players scoring a goal, six with multiple goals. Charlotte Bonney leads with three assists, one of nine players with an assist.
Two players have spent time in net with Mia Collins appearing in seven matches with six starts and has allowed 12 goals with 33 saves. Iyan Hernandez has started in four matches and appeared in five, allowing seven goals with 13 saves.
