ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team returns to action this week with a trip to Lubbock for the Red Raider Invitational. The event at the 6,894-yard, par-72 Rawls Golf Course on the campus of Texas Tech will run Tuesday-Wednesday.
The first two rounds of the tournament will be played on Tuesday, with the final round scheduled for Wednesday. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.
This year’s tournament features 12 schools. Joining the Lobos in the field is host Texas Tech, Abilene Christian, BYU, Houston Christian, Incarnate Word, Prairie View A&M, Sam Houston, Stephen F. Austin, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, UT Arlington and UTEP.
New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Ausanee Udkamtiang, Ava Cepeda, Chelsea Truong, Ciara Rushmer and Rebecca Galasso. Lena Tremouille and Sara Montejo Rey will compete as individuals.
The Lobos are playing the event for the third straight year. Last season they finished 11th in Lubbock after a sixth place finish in 2024 in their debut at the event.
