MORAGA, Calif. – New Mexico Volleyball fell in a neutral-site match with Fresno State in four sets (20-25, 22-25, 25-12, 25-27) to conclude their weekend at the Saint Mary’s Invitational Friday evening at University Credit Union Pavilion.
The Lobos (2-8) hit .542 without an attack error in the third set to extend the match, then pushed the Bulldogs (4-6) to extra points before their bid for a reverse sweep came up short.
Addison France led UNM with 15 kills and added 11 digs, while Mina Stanojevic finished with 10 kills and 15 digs as both recorded double-doubles. Reagan Miller contributed 13 kills on .323 hitting and a team-high six blocks, including a career-high five solo stops.
Madeleine Miller totaled 41 assists -- her fourth outing this season with 40 or more assists -- to go with five kills, while Campbell Hollister added eight kills on .312 hitting. Camila Canedo matched Stanojevic with a team-high 15 digs, with both players serving up two aces apiece.
New Mexico finished with advantages in kills (55-52) and aces (8-6), but Fresno State held a 15-8 edge in blocks and outhit the Lobos .213 to .200.

SET ONE: Fresno State 25, New Mexico 20
After an early 7-7 tie, Fresno State built a five-point advantage before UNM worked back within two at 20-18. The Lobos remained within striking distance at 22-20, but the Bulldogs scored the final three points to take the opener. Fresno State hit .486 with 18 kills and just one attack error.
SET TWO: Fresno State 25, New Mexico 22
The Bulldogs opened a 5-1 lead and maintained the advantage throughout the set. UNM trimmed a 20-15 deficit to 20-18 and later pulled within 23-21, but could not draw even. France and Stanojevic each recorded four kills in the frame.
SET THREE: New Mexico 25, Fresno State 12
UNM scored the first four points and raced to a 9-1 lead, eventually stretching the margin to 21-6. Reagan Miller powered the offense with six kills on eight error-free swings as the Lobos totaled 13 kills without an attack error. UNM held Fresno State to a -.120 hitting percentage, and Seenane Brewer’s kill secured the set.
SET FOUR: Fresno State 27, New Mexico 25
The Lobos led 15-11 and later 21-19 before a five-point Fresno State run put UNM against match point. New Mexico answered with three straight points to tie it at 24, then France’s eighth kill of the set erased another match point at 25-25. The Bulldogs took the next two rallies to close out a frame that featured 12 ties and five lead changes.
