LINCOLN, Neb. — New Mexico Volleyball closed out its weekend at the Bob Devaney Sports Center with a 3-0 loss to No. 20 Baylor Saturday morning, falling 25-20, 25-17, 25-22 in its second matchup with a ranked opponent of the weekend.
Addison France paced the Lobos with 10 kills and seven digs, while Reagan Miller added eight kills on .238 hitting with four total blocks. Camila Canedo finished with a match-high 20 digs and Madeleine Miller dished out 27 assists to go with six digs and an ace. New Mexico finished with 33 kills on .109 hitting, while Baylor put down 46 at a .254 clip.

SET ONE - BAYLOR 25, NEW MEXICO 20
Baylor established an early advantage and stretched its lead to 20-13 before New Mexico made a late push. The Lobos fought off multiple set points and pulled within 24-20, but Baylor closed it out on the following rally. France led UNM with five kills in the frame as the Lobos hit .089.
SET TWO - BAYLOR 25, NEW MEXICO 17
New Mexico came out quickly in the second, using a France ace to build a 6-2 lead and force an early Baylor timeout. The Bears responded with an 11-1 stretch to swing the set in their favor at 13-7 and never relinquished the lead from there. Baylor produced its most efficient offensive set of the match with 17 kills on .342 hitting.
SET THREE - BAYLOR 25, NEW MEXICO 22
The Lobos went in front 7-5 early in the third before Baylor answered and eventually opened up a 22-15 advantage. New Mexico made one final charge, scoring seven of the next nine points and fighting off four consecutive match points to get within 24-22. Baylor finally ended the run on the next rally to complete the sweep.
