LINCOLN, Neb. – New Mexico Volleyball fell in straight sets to Georgia Tech Friday afternoon at the Bob Devaney Sports Center, dropping the second match of its weekend in Lincoln 25-13, 25-16, 25-17.
The Lobos finished with 22 kills on .141 hitting, with Reagan Miller leading the offense with eight kills on .273 hitting. Mina Stanojevic added five kills and six digs, while Addison France finished with four kills. Madeleine Miller dished out 21 assists with two service aces, and Camila Canedo led UNM with eight digs. Georgia Tech hit .448 for the match with 54 kills.
The Yellow Jackets were the second high-caliber team the Lobos have faced in a row after squaring off with No. 1 Nebraska last night -- they were the first team out of the AVCA Top 25 this week with the most votes in the receiving votes category.

SET ONE - GEORGIA TECH 25, NEW MEXICO 13
The teams were even at 3-3 before Georgia Tech began to separate, using an extended service run to build a 13-4 advantage. UNM hit .261 in the frame, its best percentage of the match, but the Yellow Jackets countered at .467 and took the opener 25-13.
SET TWO - GEORGIA TECH 25, NEW MEXICO 16
New Mexico stayed close early and later put together a 5-0 run to pull within 14-13, highlighted by an ace from Madeleine Miller and a block from Aylin Ravell and Campbell Hollister. Georgia Tech responded immediately, however, and scored 11 of the final 14 points to go up two sets with a 25-16 win.
SET THREE - GEORGIA TECH 25, NEW MEXICO 17
Georgia Tech jumped ahead early before UNM continued to battle, cutting the deficit to 19-14 midway through the frame. Reagan Miller provided five of her match-high eight kills in the third, but the Yellow Jackets held off the push and closed out the sweep 25-17.
