ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The non-conference schedule for Head Coach Amy Eagan and staff’s first season at New Mexico has been finalized and features a heavy home schedule.
Nine of UNM’s 11 non-conference regular season games will be at home with consecutive road games in mid-November, as well as three games against Big 12 opponents with two to be played in The Pit-Powered by Nusenda.
Following an exhibition against MSU Denver on Monday, Oct. 26, the Lobos open the regular season at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 2 against Seattle for the Field Trip Game. UNM hosts New Mexico Highlands before a road trip at Fresno State on Nov. 11 and BYU on Nov. 14.
UNM returns home for its second Big 12 opponent, Colorado, on Wednesday, Nov. 18 and closes the week with New Mexico State on Saturday, Nov. 21. UNM hosts Eastern Kentucky for its final game in November on the 24th , before opening December with Loyola Marymount on Dec. 2.
The Lobos host Arizona for their third Big 12 team on the schedule on Dec. 5 and close the non-conference slate against UC Irvine on Dec. 18 and Portland on Dec. 21.
Of note, New Mexico will face Eastern Kentucky for the first time in program history, while facing Seattle for the first time since 1979, Portland for the first time since 1995, BYU for the first time since 2011 and LMU for the first time since 2019.
The Mountain West schedule will be announced at a later date.
