ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The No. 21 New Mexico men’s golf team travels to Arizona this week for the 2026 Mountain West Championship. The conference championship will be decided Sunday-Tuesday at OMNI Tucson National.   

There will be one round of play per day at the par-72, 7,194 yard course. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.

The Lobos, ranked No. 21 nationally, are the top-seed in the 12-team field. They will be competing against No. 39 San Diego State, No. 43 UNLV, No. 85 San Jose State, No. 92 Grand Canyon, No. 108 Nevada, No. 128 Boise State, No. 142 Colorado State, No. 158 Fresno State, No. 169 Wyoming, No. 216 Utah State, and No. 261 Air Force.

The Lobos will feature a lineup of Mesa Falleur, Johnnie Clark, Wyatt Provence, Thayer Plewe and Clark Sonnenberg. Emil Albers will be the alternate.

New Mexico has finished in the top four of eight of 11 events this season, including wins at The Wohali and the ASU Thunderbird Collegiate.

New Mexico has won a record eight Mountain West Championships, most recently in 2021. The Lobos finished third at last year’s championship and have finished in the top three in each of the last three seasons.
