ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- Bente Vandeputte and Marika Matsoukatidi were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team for women's tennis.

To be eligible, a student-athlete must have a cumulative 3.5 grade point average and play in 75% of a team's contests for the spring season. Vandeputte played the entire season at No. 1 singles for UNM, picking up her 100th career win along the way, while Matsoukatidi played mostly No. 4 singles. Both players excelled in doubles for UNM this year as well.

The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men’s Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program
separately recognizes men’s tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced June 2, 2026.
