ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team concludes the 2025-26 regular season schedule this week with a trip to Arizona for the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic. The tournament, hosted by Wyoming at the Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club in Maricopa, Ariz., will be held Tuesday and Wednesday.
The tournament will feature two rounds of play on Tuesday and the final round on Wednesday. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.
This year’s tournament features 20 schools, including seven teams in the top 100. The Lobos will play against No. 22 Iowa State, No. 63 UNLV, No. 77 Sacramento State, No. 78 BYU, No. 79 Santa Clara, No. 86 Boise State and No.94 Long Beach State. Host Wyoming, New Mexico State, Grand Canyon, Gonzaga, Nevada, Oral Roberts, Fresno State, UC Riverside, UTEP, Eastern Michigan, Montana and Southern Utah round out the lineup.
New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Ava Cepeda, Chelsea Truong, Ciara Rushmer, Maria Caparros Levin and Rebecca Galasso.
The Lobos are playing the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic for the first time.
