ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – New Mexico and Utah State have announced an upcoming home-and-home series in men’s basketball over the 2026-27 and 2027-28 seasons. The Lobos and Aggies will play this upcoming season on Nov. 29, 2026 at The Pit -Powered by Nusenda in Albuquerque and on a date to be determined in 2027-28 at the Smith Spectrum in Logan, Utah.
The games will continue a rivalry that developed into one of the best in the Mountain West in recent years. Combined, the teams have won the last three Mountain West regular season titles and two of the last three Mountain West Tournament titles. The addition of the non-conference home-and-home series follows Utah State’s move to the Pac-12 next season.
