ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team travels to California this week for the 2026 Mountain West Championship. The tournament will run Tuesday-Thursday at the 6,286-yard, par-72 Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.
The tournament will feature one round of play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.
The Lobos have won a record 10 Mountain West championships, the last coming in 2023. New Mexico was seventh at last year’s championship.
This year’s Mountain West Championship will have a field of 10 teams, with seven ranked in the top 125 of the national rankings. The Lobos are ranked No. 125 and are joined in the field by No. 51 San Jose State, No. 66 UNLV, No. 91 Boise State, No. 95 San Diego State, No. 114 Grand Canyon and No. 115 Colorado State, along with Nevada, Fresno State and Wyoming.
New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Ava Cepeda, Chelsea Truong, Ciara Rushmer, Maria Caparros Levin and Juliette Hole. Rebecca Galasso is the alternate.
