New Mexico Volleyball’s Mountain West schedule for the 2026 season has been officially unveiled, the league announced Wednesday.

The Lobos head into their first season under Head Coach Brian Hosfeld with a different structure than years previous – in the new conference format with newcomers Hawaii, UC Davis and UTEP, teams will play each other twice in the same week each week.

All of New Mexico's women’s volleyball conference matches will be available live on the new Mountain West subscription streaming platform.

The Lobos will open conference play on the road at Hawaii – the first meetings on the volleyball court between the two as Mountain West opponents – with back-to-back matches on Sept. 25 and 26.

They’ll get their home opener the following week, hosting Nevada on Oct. 1 and 3. After a road trip to UC Davis (Oct. 8 and 10), UNM splits the following week with new travel partner UTEP, hosting the Miners on Oct. 15 before rematching them in El Paso on Oct. 17.

Four home matches in a row come next, with San Jose State (Oct. 22 and 24) and Grand Canyon (Oct. 29 and 31) coming to Albuquerque before a four-match road swing at Air Force (Nov. 5 and 7) and at UNLV (Nov. 12 and 14).

The Lobos will close out the regular season at home, hosting Wyoming for another back-to-back set on Nov. 18 and 19.
