In her first competition since last June at NCAA Outdoor Championships, Pouzancre Hoyer slid into No. 9 on the UNM All-Time list with a new personal best thar stands as the 13th fastest individual time in history. Behind her in the race was Laylah Lawson, who took third place with an 11.79 PB (+1.6 m/s) that ties her for No. 10 on the all-time outdoor ranking list. Eva Ngom sprinted 11.91 (+1.6m/s), Adryana Shelby went 12.13 (+1.6m/s), newcomer Victoria Kwarteng (Occitanie, France) 12.28 (+1.6m/s), and Lauren Fowler rounded things out with a 12.43 (+1.6m/s).

In the half-lap, Ngom crossed the the finish line first with a 24.43 (-1.5m/s) run into a slight headwind, breaking into the top 15 on the all-time performance list. Finishing fourth was Lawson with 25.13 (-1.5m/s), Shelby 25.48 (-1.5m/s), and Anaya Quarles 26.51 (-1.5m/s).

Kiess made up the stagger on all athletes outside of her on the backstretch and ran away with the event win, clocking 55.41 in the process. Taking second was Quarles in 57.91, then middle-distance athlete Kylie Feeney at 58.41 to make it a 1-2-3 Lobo finish.

Tilly Simpson led the way as she clocked a 4:14.54 conversion, moving her all the way up to No. 6 all-time outdoors at UNM with the 14th fastest time in the 51-year history of Lobo track. Jasmine Wood was right behind in 4:15.78 that just missed the all-time top ten list. Behind them, Li-Mari Dekker clocked 4:16.67 (#13 best in history), Natalie Bitetti went 4:26.64, Charlotte O’Meara 4:33.46, Anya Belisle 4:34.14, Isabelle Bloker 4:41.09, and Harriet Tuson 4:51.04.
WOMEN’S 4x100 RELAY
1. New Mexico ‘A’ (45.75)
Eva Ngom, Hanna Kiess, Victoria Kwarteng and Lou-Anne Pouzancre-Hoyer carried the baton around the oval to a winning time of 45.86, getting them into the all-time top 20 on the UNM ranking list.

A distance runners 4x400 meter Relay of Kylie Feeney (58.2), Jasmine Wood (64.4), Charlotte O’Meara (56.7) and Harriet Tuson (57.5) went 3:57.47 for the victory.

Mackenzie Hurtubise had the highest clearance of any of the vaulters as she rotated over 13’ 4 ½” (4.08m) for a new personal best and UNM outdoor record. Hurtubise cleared 12’ 4 ¾” on her first attempt then 12’ 10 ¾” (3.93m) on her third attempt, needing all three attempts for the record. She ended her day attempting 13’ 8 ½” (4.18m). The previous record was from 2011, when Margo Tucker sailed over 13’ 3 ¾” at the Texas Relays.
In second place was Sofia Kazanova clearing 12’ 4 ¾” (3.78m) with Jacquelyn Gorman at 11’ 10 ¾” (3.63m).
WOMEN’S LONG JUMP

Ajia Hughes leaped the longest distance out into the sand to win the Long Jump with 19’ 8” (5.99m) (+0.0m/s) performance that ranks #15 all-time at UNM. Behind her came Mikyla Harkley with 19’ 3 ½” (5.88m) (+0.0m/s), Hannah Vincent 18’ 7 ¾” (5.68m) (+0.0m/s), and Lauren Fowler 18’ 2 ¼” (5.54m) (+0.0m/s).
WOMEN’S TRIPLE JUMP

Hughes came back later in the meet to secure a double victory, bounding 40’ 7 ¾” (12.39m) (+0.0m/s) to tie Harkley for #8 on the all-time UNM outdoor ranking list. In second was Harkley with 40’ 4” (12.29m), with Vincent 38’ 5 ½” (11.72m) good for third.
MEN’S 100M

Miller blazed to victory in the 100 meters with a 10.55 (+2.5m/s) clocking that would have been #13 on the all-time list if it wasn’t wind-aided. Any performance in excess of the +2.0 meter per second (m/s) threshold could not be used for record purposes. Semaj Thompson took third place in 10.95 (+2.5m/s).

Running into a headwind, Kahari Wilbon took the victory with 21.85 (-1.6m/s) while Thompson went 22.39 (-1.6m/s).

Collins Kiprotich ended up with the victory in 3:40.83 (converted), taking down his old PB of 3:41.05 -- second place went to Iker Sanchez, who clocked a 3:41.75 to narrowly miss his PB of 3:41.08. Rhys Crawford finished with 3:47.64, Lukas Kiprop 3:50.29, and Dylan Maloney 4:04.88.

Over in the field events Arian Milicija cleared 16’ 6 ¾” (5.05m) on his third attempt but couldn’t get the next bar in the height progression. That clearance ranks fourth in the most recent Mountain West Conference standings. Behind him Kyle Hatler sailed over 15’ 7” (4.75m).
