ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team returns to action this week with a trip to Las Vegas for the Lady Luck Invitational. The tournament, hosted by UNLV at the Las Vegas Country Club, will be held Monday-Tuesday.  

The tournament will feature two rounds of play on Monday and one round of play on Tuesday. Live scoring will be available on Clippd.

This year’s tournament features 14 schools, including seven teams in the top 50. The Lobos will play against No. 16 UCF, No. 19 Baylor, No. 28 Oklahoma State, No. 30 Kent State, No. 33 Houston, No. 44 Texas Tech and No. 49 Oregon State. BYU, Nevada, Northern Arizona, Texas State, UNLV, and UTSA  round out the field.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Ava Cepeda, Ciara Rushmer, Chelsea Truong, Rebecca Galasso and Maria Caparros Levin. Juliette Hole will compete as an individual.

This year’s event is the inaugural Lady Luck Invitational. It will be the Lobos’ first tournament in Las Vegas in two seasons, having previously played at The Show at Spanish Trail frequently.
