Another huge personal best from Rasha Badrani in the 200 meters – moving her up to No. 4 on the UNM All-Time Indoor List – highlighted New Mexico’s first day of competition at the UNM Collegiate Classic Friday at the Albuquerque Convention Center.

Competition resumes tomorrow morning, with Men’s 60m Hurdle Prelims both getting underway at 10 a.m. MT. Women’s “B” Pole Vault
6. Jacquelyn Gorman - 3.70m (12' 1½")

Gorman cleared at least 3.70m for the third meet in a row as she finished sixth overall in the “B” flight of women’s pole vault to get the day started for the Lobos.

Women’s 200m
7. Rasha Badrani - 23.73 / 23.80 @*
48. Laylah Lawson - 25.10 / 25.17 @

After entering the UNM Indoor All-Time 200m list at No. 9 with a 24.34 converted performance last weekend at the Team Open, Badrani ran more than half a second faster to move up to No. 4. It’s the first time she’s ran below 24 seconds indoors in her collegiate career and .05 seconds faster than her previous outdoor best (23.85) while at Cal State San Marcos.

Women’s Long Jump
20. Hannah Vincent - 5.52m (18' 1½")
21. Lauren Fowler - 5.48m (17' 11¾")*

Hannah Vincent jumped 5.52m on her first attempt and Lauren Fowler improved for the third week in a row with a 5.48m mark on her second as the two Lobos finished 20th and 21st overall in a nationally-competitive field series. Fowler jumped 5.14m in her first competition after her return from injury at the MLK Jr. Invitational before improving to 5.33m last weekend – she jumped 15 centimeters further today.

Women’s “A” Pole Vault
8. Mackenzie Hurtubise - 3.99 (13' 1")*

Hurtubise cleared a new collegiate best for the second week in a row, adding three centimeters to her 3.96m performance from last weekend at the UNM Team Open. She's now just half an inch from matching Katherine Whiting's 3.99 m / 13’ 1.5” mark from 2017 that ranks No. 10 in program history.

Men’s Mile
14. Will Pardue - 4:26.36 / 4:20.56 @ 4:19.37 / 4:13.72

In his first race in almost exactly a calendar year after sitting out the 2025 outdoor season, Will Pardue put down a 4:26.36 season opening performance that converts to a 4:20.56 time, finishing 14th overall.

Women’s Mile 
16. Peyton Schieppe - 5:27.35 / 5:20.22 @

In her first competition since 2023, Peyton Schieppe crossed seventh in her heat and 16th overall with a 5:27.35 time that converts to a 5:20.22 with altitude adjustments.

Men’s 800 Meters
7. Rhys Crawford - 1:53.82 / 1:53.19 @*

Crawford finished just shy of his 1:53.80 raw personal best – ran at last year’s Collegiate Classic – with a 1:53.82 clocking that converts to a 1:53.19. He took more than half a second off his season-opening time from the MLK Jr. Invitational on Jan. 24.

Meadow Drebert ran exactly a second faster than her previous raw best indoors (2:11.88) to lead three Lobos in the final races of the day,  with Kylie Feeney netting a 2:10.15 conversion to take nearly 3.5 seconds off her time of 2:13.61 in Boston last weekend – the duo finished third and fourth ahead of a ninth-place finish from O’Meara (2:16.46) as the true freshman finished second in her heat.

Women's High Jump
5. Ajia Hughes - 1.75m (5' 8¾")

Ajia Hughes came up shy of a season-best clearance as she finished fifth in the last event of the day -- she cleared 1.70m and 1.75m on her first attempts but scratched out just shy of the UNM program record at 1.80m.
