ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team concludes a two-game road trip on Tuesday night when it visits Nevada. Game time at the Lawlor Events Center is 8:00 p.m. PT (9:00 p.m. PT) and the game will be televised on CBS Sports Network and air on Lobo Radio Network.
The Lobos (21-6, 12-4 MW) can clinch a first round bye in the Mountain West Tournament with a victory and are looking for their seventh Mountain West road win of the season, which would tie the school record for conference road wins in a year. New Mexico is led by freshman Jake Hall, the reigning Mountain West Freshman of the Week, who is averaging 15.9 points per game.
Nevada (18-9, 10-6 MW) is coming off an 80-77 home win over conference-leader Utah State on Saturday. The Wolf Pack, who are 7-1 at home this season in Mountain West play, are led by Corey Camper, Jr., who averages 17.7 points per game.
The Wolf Pack lead the all-time series 14-12, including 7-5 in Reno. The Lobos have won the last five matchups in a series where eight of the last nine meetings have been decided by single digits.
The Lobos will return home Saturday to host San Diego State in a sold out Pit. Game time is noon and the game will be televised on CBS (KRQE 13 in Albuquerque).
