SANTA CLARA, Calif. --- The Lobo men's tennis team has a tall task ahead, taking on the 7-2 Santa Clara Broncos, ranked No. 40, on the road in the final game of a month-long, nine-game road trip.

The Lobos are struggling with the injury bug, as UNM's last match saw UNM with just six players. Still, it went 1-1 on the last swing, losing to Texas Tech 5-2 and beating Louisiana 6-1. Philip Bosin had a solid week with a pair of wins at No. 2 singles, and the Lobos will need more of the same.

The Broncos have won three straight, the last of which was a 4-3 victory over Washington (currently ranked No. 66) in Seattle, which pairs nicely with a 4-3 win over Oregon (currently ranked No. 46). One of its two losses is to current No. 10 Mississippi State, 4-1.
