SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. --- New Mexico picked up the doubles point, but couldn't get a point in singles, as the Lobos lost 6-1 to Cal Poly.

In doubles, the Lobos swept their way to the doubles point. Dario Ciobotaru and Connor Dils took a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles to clinch the point after UNM took a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles behind Jan SKerbatis and Tyler Waddock.

In singles, however, the Lobos couldn't earn a point, as the Mustangs won all six singles matches. The Mustangs clinched the match with four singles wins in straight sets, winning Nos. 3 through 6 singles.

Sean Kamyshev won a 6-0, 6-3 match against Jan Skerbatis at No. 5, and that was followed in succession by wins at No. 4 (Jack Cross over Tyler Waddock 6-2, 6-0) and No. 6 (Aaron Eliscu over Connor Dils, 6-2, 6-2).

That made it 3-1, and Luc Hoeijmans 6-3, 6-3 win over Jakub Prachar at No. 3 singles clinched the match.

UNM forced a pair of third sets in the top two slots. Ciobotaru was able to force a third set with a 6-3 win in the second set, but he lost 6-2 in the third set. In the final match, Alberto Perez lost the opening set 6-4, won the second 6-1, but lost the third set 6-4.
