ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- After a weekend in Pasadena where UNM played well but lost to No. 10 UCLA 4-0 and to Pacific 4-1, the Lobos will look to get back on the horse in the same state, as the team faces St. Mary's in a neutral match on Sunday before taking on Cal Poly on Monday.
The St. Mary's match will not have any stream or live scoring, and it will start at 3 p.m. Mountain Time. Monday's match will be at 2 p.m. Mountain, and there will be live scoring only vs. Cal Poly.
The only official win on the weekend was recorded by Albuquerque native Philip Bosin, who has turned into a solid piece for Rob Bareford at No. 3 singles. Dario Ciobotaru, UNM's No. 1 singles player, played all weekend, but got four no-decisions on his ledger.
Alberto Perez played a strong match against UCLA, moving into a third set, and he likewise was in a third set against Pacific.
Overall, UNM has gotten good results across the lineup, sitting at 2-2 on the season. St.Mary's is 2-1 with a loss to No. 4 Stanford, a win over Jessup, and a 4-3 win over future Mountain West foe UC Davis. Cal Poly is 0-1, losing to just No. 15 California.
