ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team returns to action Saturday with a visit to Mountain West co-leaders San Diego State. Game time at Viejas Arena is 6:00 p.m. MT (5:00 p.m. PT) and the game will air on CBS Sports Network and the Lobo Radio Network.

The Lobos (14-3, 5-1 MW) are riding a four-game win streak and are one game back of San Diego State and Utah State in the conference standings. New Mexico is coming off an 87-64 home win over conference newcomer Grand Canyon at The Pit on Tuesday. Jake Hall scored 22 points to lead UNM, his school freshman record sixth 20-point game of the season.

San Diego State (12-4, 6-0 MW), the unanimous preseason favorite in the Mountain West, has won six straight games since a loss to No. 1 Arizona in December. The Aztecs are coming off a 74-57 road win at Wyoming on Wednesday night.

New Mexico leads the all-time series 52-46, but the Aztecs lead 30-14 in San Diego, including a 17-8 advantage at Viejas Arena. The Lobos’ eight wins at Viejas are tied for the most wins by a visitor in the arena, matching the total of BYU and UNLV.

The Lobos return home next week for a pair of home games at The Pit. New Mexico hosts Fresno State on Wednesday (7 pm) and Nevada on Saturday (6 pm). Tickets for both games are available now at GoLobos.com/tickets.
