USAFA, Colo. – Alice English finished fourth in the 3-meter dive, and Esme Abbadi-MacIntosh was fifth in the 1-meter, UNM’s top finishes on the day as the Lobos traveled to USAFA for a dual meet with Air Force and Colorado State.
UNM lost both duals, falling 254-41 to Air Force and 244-51 to Colorado State. The Falcons beat Colorado State 179-121.
English turned in a 256.05 in the 3-meter for the top finish on the day for UNM. Abbadi-MacIntosh was fifth in the 1-meter with a Zone qualifying mark of 265.95, giving her multiple qualifying marks in the 1-meter this season.
In the pool, UNM’s top finish was in the 50-yard free, where Arianna Stokes was seventh with a time of 24.95. Sophia Corder also finished seventh, doing so in the 100-yard fly with a mark of 1:00.01.
The Lobos head right back on the road next weekend to take on North Texas, Tulane, and UALR as the Lobos take part in the Mardi Gras Invitational, hosted by Tulane.
