PHOENIX, Ariz.  — It all comes down to this, as the New Mexico Lobos (9-3) go for a school-record tying 10th win, taking on the Minnesota Golden Gophers (7-5) in the 2025 Rate Bowl, taking place at Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Lobos arrived in Arizona on Tuesday, December 23, for UNM's first non-New Mexico Bowl appearance since the 2004 season. The Lobos, who are 1-1 this season against the Big Ten, will have a tall task in the Golden Gophers, who own the longest active bowl winning streak with eight straight. Minnesota head coach P.J. Fleck has been at the helm for the last six of those wins.
