WESTLAKE, Ohio --- The University of New Mexico, which finished the 2025-26 year as the top G6 school in the final Learfield Directors' Cup standings, is right back in a familiar place. The Lobos are tied for 20th in the Fall standings, released by NACDA today.
The Lobos are once again the top G6 school in the standings, and UNM is tied for 20th with Texas A&M. The Lobos scored 90 points for their second-place finish in men's cross country and 80 points for their fourth-place finish in women's cross country for the 170 total points.
The closest G6 school to UNM is Washington State, with 104 points and ranked 47th overall. The next-closest Mountain West school is Boise State, with 79 points, ranked 64th.
The final fall standings will be released in January.
