DAVIS, Calif. --- The Lobos got a crash course in the metric system, competing in their first long-course meet of the season at UC Davis. The Lobos lost 219-62 in the meet, which was held in meters rather than yards.

For the second straight day, Alice English turned in Zone qualifying scores in the 1-meter and 3-meter dives.  In the 3-meter, she scored a 284.1 for fourth place. In the 1-meter, her 280.5 score was good for third place. Rithika Colvin had a terrific meet in the 1-meter as well, just missing the Zone score of 265, scoring a 263.85 for seventh place.

Mollie Gorman took fourth in a pair of events, the 100 and 200-meter breast. Arianna Stokes also had a fourth place finish in the 50-meter free.

The Lobos are off until the weekend of January 9-10, when they travel to Denver to face the Pioneers on January 9 at noon before a double-dual with Air Force and Colorado State at the Academy on January 10 at 11 am.
