ALBUQUERQUE, N.M – The New Mexico men’s basketball team continues a three-game homestand on Monday night when it hosts New Mexico Highlands at The Pit. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on Altitude2, streamed for free on the Mountain West Network and will air on Lobo Radio Network.

The Lobos (5-2) look to remain unbeaten at home this season and extend a 15-game home win streak, the sixth-longest active streak in the nation. UNM is coming off a 93-87 win over Alabama State on Wednesday night when they rallied from down 15 points in the second half for their biggest comeback in seven seasons. Jake Hall led the Lobos with 24 points against the Hornets, tying the UNM freshman record with seven 3-pointers.
New Mexico Highlands is 0-7 this season and is playing their third Division I opponent, having already visited North Texas and New Mexico State. The Cowboys’ roster includes Ibrahima Sacko, who played for the Lobos last season.
New Mexico is 25-4 all-time against Highlands, having won the last 15 matchups since NMHU’s last win in the series in 1929.
The Lobos’ homestand will conclude on Saturday when they host Santa Clara (7-1), the highest rated team to visit The Pit in the non-conference this season. Game time is 7 p.m. and tickets are on sale at GoLobos.com/tickets.
