FORT COLLINS, Colo. – New Mexico Volleyball equalized with a dominant second set but couldn’t keep pace with Colorado State as the Lobos’ 2025 season ended with a four-set loss (19-25, 25-20, 13-25, 17-25) Saturday at Moby Arena.
The Lobos conclude the 2025 season at 13-16 overall and 5-13 in Mountain West play.
Zoe Leonard set a new career-high with 12 kills on team-best .258 hitting to lead the offense and Lauryn Payne (11 kills) and Addison France (10 kills) joined her in double figures. Reagan Miller and Gioia Riccato both added eight kills apiece to round out a 50-kill performance. France also finished with 11 digs for her third double-double of the season, joining Camila Canedo (16 digs) and Riccato (12 digs) in double figures.
In her final match of the season, Madeleine Miller surpassed 40 assists for the 11th time this year with 43 in total, finishing just shy of another double-double with nine digs along with four block assists. Zoe Leonard (5 BA) and Reagan Miller (4 BA) combined for nine more as UNM totaled nine team blocks.
UNM held the Rams to .125 and poured in 17 kills to equalize in the second set, with France and Riccato combining for 10 of those. But the Lobos hit 0.038 to the Rams’ .333 clip over the final two sets as CSU retook control with dominant set wins in the third and fourth to stall the Lobos’ comeback bid.
