ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The 2026 Lobo Softball schedule is starting to take shape with the release of the Mountain West schedule.
UNM opens up the conference schedule at home against new-member Grand Canyon the weekend of March 13-15 with Colorado State on the road the following weekend.
The schedule alternates home and away throughout the season with San Diego State (March 27-29), UNLV (a Wednesday doubleheader on April 8), Fresno State (April 17-19) and Utah State (April 30- May 2) all at Lobo Softball Field and Boise State (April 2-4), Nevada (April 11-12) and San José State (April 24-26) all on the road.
In total, UNM will play 25 conference games with two-game series against UNLV and Nevada and the remaining series three games.
Only the Boise State and UNLV series will not follow the Friday-Sunday series schedule with Boise State starting on Thursday and ending Saturday due to Easter and UNLV being the midweek doubleheader.
The remaining non-conference schedule will be released in the coming weeks.
