ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team returns to action this week with a trip to Colorado for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate. The tournament, hosted by Denver at the University of Denver Golf Course at Highlands Ranch, will be held Friday-Sunday.
The tournament will have one round per day, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Live scoring will be available on Birdiefire.
This year’s tournament features 15 schools. The Lobos will compete against host Denver, along with No. 7 Vanderbilt, Clemson, Colorado, Colorado State, Hawaii, Northern Colorado, San Francisco, Texas State, Tulane, UNLV, UTSA, Wyoming and Xavier.
New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Ava Cepeda, Juliette Hole, Chelsea Truong, Rebecca Galasso and Maria Caparros Levin. Ciara Rushmer will also compete as an individual.
The Lobos are playing the event for the fourth straight season. New Mexico’s best finish at the tournament came in 2022, when UNM finished T-3rd.
