ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. --- The University of New Mexico Alumni Lettermen’s Association has announced that four individuals: Arthur Baxter (Track & Field), John Fields (Golf), Sandy Martin (Track & Field), and Karen Saavedra-Warnock (Volleyball) will be inducted into the UNM Athletic Hall of Honor on Friday, November 14. In addition, Randy Briggs will be inducted as the 2025 recipient of the Distinguished Service Award.

Along with the honorees, the 2024-25 Coach of the Year, Darren Gauson (Cross Country/Track & Field), Female Athlete of the Year, Pamela Kosgei (Cross Country/Track & Field), and Male Athlete of the Year, Donovan Dent (Basketball), will be celebrated. 

A reminder that fans can attend the awards dinner, which will be held on Friday, November 14, at 7:00 p.m. at the Events Center at Sandia Golf Club. Tickets are $75 each or $750 for a table of 10.   • Led team in assists in 1987 with 1,123
  • Five single-match individual records for assists, one for service aces, and one for attack percentage
