Lobo Talk Highlights All the Ways to Get Ready for Game Day!

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — It’s a new year and a new era of Lobo Football, and you will want to always stay up to date on the latest from Head Coach Jason Eck. Lobo Talk, Live at Sandia Resort & Casino, which starts Tuesday at 7 pm, highlights all the ways you can keep up with the head honcho during the week leading up to game day!

Sandia Resort and Casino is back as our host for Lobo Talk all season long.  Lobo Talk will take place upstairs in the beautiful Sandia Sports Bar.  The Sandia Sports Bar adds a casual element of fun, great food, local craft beers, and inspired cocktails. Unwind indoors and outdoors, taking in the most amazing views of the Sandia Mountains, while enjoying over 50 state-of-the-art televisions. Sandia’s menu features terrific sports bar favorites from wings to burgers, plus authentic New Mexican cuisine, and even surf and turf options.  There is something for everyone at Sandia Sports Bar.

Fans will certainly want to head out to Sandia on Tuesday, August 26 for the opening show.  Joining Coach Eck and Voice of the Lobos Robert Portnoy will be offensive line coach Cody Booth and offensive lineman Richard Pearce. The show goes from 7-8 pm on Tuesday nights of game week throughout the season.

The first three shows will air on 770 AM/96.3 FM KKOB before switching to its more familiar home of The Sports Animal KNML 95.9 FM/610 AM.  Fans can call with questions at 505-243-3333 and can listen online right here.

Lobo Talk isn’t the only place to catch Coach Eck during the season. Fans can catch his first comments of the week via Cumulus Radio at 8 am every Monday with Jeff Siembieda and J.J. Buck as he joins The Opening Drive. On Wednesday afternoon, Eck will join Joe O’Neill, Adam Diehl and Co. at 5 pm during Team Talk.  Finally, on Wednesday night at 6:30 pm, KOB 4 will broadcast the Lobo Coaches Show.
