Altitude to Broadcast Four Games, Including Rio Grande Rivalry on September 27
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Lobo Football is hitting more screens this season.
The University of New Mexico has partnered with Altitude Sports to televise four home football games during the 2025 season, expanding the program’s reach across nine states and significantly boosting visibility for the team, our university, and the Lobo brand.
With this partnership, 11 of UNM’s 12 games will be available on linear television, ensuring that fans across the region can experience Lobo Football like never before.
Lobo Football on Altitude – 2025 Schedule
- Saturday, September 6 vs. Idaho State – 1 PM
- Saturday, September 27 vs. New Mexico State – 2 PM (Rio Grande Rivalry)
- Saturday, October 25 vs. Utah State – 1 PM
- Saturday, November 15 vs. Colorado State – 1 PM
“Partnering with Altitude Sports & Entertainment, home of the Denver Nuggets and Colorado Avalanche, gives Lobo Football unprecedented exposure across the West,” said Vice President/Director of Athletics Fernando Lovo. “Getting our product out there is critical—to recruiting, to building our fan base, and to raising the profile of UNM Athletics. Lovo also credited Sr. Associate A.D. Kasey Byers and Playfly Sports General Manager Brent Moore for their leadership in making the partnership a reality.

The four featured broadcasts include the home opener, the Rio Grande Rivalry, and key conference matchups against Utah State and Colorado State. Robert Portnoy, the Voice of the Lobos, and Don Trell Moore, one of the most decorated players in program history, will serve as the broadcast team for Altitude.
