Three Lobos Earn Mountain West Awards
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— Three Lobos earned Mountain West honors on Tuesday with two earning all-conference accolades for the first time.
As voted on by the conference coaches, senior Ashley Archuleta garnered First Team All-Mountain West, while sophomore McKenna Guest was named to the Second Team All-Mountain West and freshman Allie Williams earned honorable mention. For Guest and Williams, it was their first postseason conference award, while for Archuleta it was the third of her career.
Archuleta is the first Lobo to earn three First Team All-Mountain West honors in program history since the conference designated first and second teams in 2014, and the fifth Lobo to win three or more all-conference awards, joining Kelly Glass (four all-conference awards), Chelsea Johnson (three, with one first team and two second team), Andrea Howard (three, one first team, one second team and one all-conference) and Cameryn O’Grady (three, with one first team, one second team and one all-conference).
