Lobos in Fifth Place After Two Rounds at Mountain West Championship
CRESWELL, Ore. –– The New Mexico men’s golf team continued play Saturday at the 2025 Mountain West Championship with the second round of play at the Emerald Valley Golf Club. The Lobos shot 3-under during the second 18 holes to finish the day in fifth place at 13-under.
San Diego State is the 36-hole leader at 44-under through two rounds. San Jose State is second at 22-under, while UNLV (18-under), Colorado State (18-under) and the Lobos round out the top five.
Mesa Falleur led the Lobos on Saturday, shooting a 4-under 68 to climb to 13th on the individual leaderboard at 5-under overall. Oliver Cage also shot in red numbers in the second round, posting a 1-under 71 for the second straight day. Carson Herron shot even par on Saturday to remain at 1-under, while Clark Sonnenberg shot 74 and Wyatt Provence shot 75.
The Mountain West Championship concludes Sunday at Emerald Valley Golf Club.
