Lobo Women’s Golf Travels to Palm Springs for Mountain West Championship

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team travels to California this week for the 2025 Mountain West Championship. The tournament will run Tuesday-Thursday at the 6,286-yard, par-72 Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage.

The tournament will feature one round of play on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Live scoring will be available on Scoreboard and the tournament will have live coverage each day on a free webstream.

The Lobos have won a record 10 Mountain West championships, the last coming in 2023. New Mexico was fourth at last year’s championship.

This year’s Mountain West Championship will have a field of nine teams, with five ranked in the top 100 of the national rankings. The Lobos are ranked No. 98 and are joined in the field by No. 38 UNLV, No. 46 San Jose State, No. 91 Colorado State, and No. 94 Boise State, along with Nevada, San Diego State, Fresno State and Wyoming.

New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Maria Garcia, Maria Caparros Levin, Rebecca Galasso, Chelsea Truong and Annie Saechueng. Lisa-Marie Pagliano is the alternate.

New Mexico is coming off a eighth place finish at the PING/ASU Invitational in its regular season finale.
