ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Lobo women’s tennis team faces a pair of tough opponents in a key Mountain West home weekend as the Lobos host Fresno State on Friday at noon and San Jose State on Saturday at 11 am. Fresno State is 10-6 overall and 2-2 in the Mountain West, tied with UNM for fifth place. San Jose State is 13-1 overall and 4-0 in the league and sitting in first place. SJSU travels to play Air Force on Friday.
The Lobos are coming off a second straight split weekend, defeating Utah State at home 4-2 before traveling to UNLV where UNM fell 4-0 in Vegas. UNM opened the season with three of the first four Mountain West matches on the road.
