Lobos Finish 12th at Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational
AUSTIN, Texas – The New Mexico women’s golf team concluded play Tuesday at the Betsy Rawls Longhorn Invitational with the final round at the University of Texas Golf Club. The Lobos shot 35-over in the third round to finish the event in 12th place at 101-over.
No. 7 Texas, the tournament host, won the event at 16-over. No. 13 LSU, No. 2 Arkansas, No. 40 Tennessee and No. 34 Oklahoma rounded out the top five.
Annie Saechueng had the low round of the day for New Mexico, shooting a 3-over 75. She finished the event at 24-over, T-50th on the individual leaderboard. Chelsea Truong also finished at 24-over after a final round 85. Maria Garcia finished at 26-over, Maria Caparros Levin finished at 30-over and Rebecca Galasso rounded out the lineup at 36-over.
The Lobos will conclude the regular season Mar. 28-30 with the PING/ASU Invitational in Phoenix.
