Three Net Season-Bests in 1-Meter

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — Arianna Pelligra, Rithika Colvin and Zoe Rinon all posted season-bests in the 1-meter dive, and Isabella Gomez finished eighth after a 279.05 Zone qualifying score on day two of the Lumberjack Diving Invitational.  The Lobos will compete in the platform dive on Saturday and the swim team joins for a full dual with NAU.

Pelligra, Colvin and Rinon all bested their previous marks in the consolation final, where Pellegra was fourth, Colvin seventh and Rinon eighth.  The season-bests give UNM four over the first two days of the competition.

Gomez earned her way into a second straihgt final, and although her final round score of 238.50 put her eighth, her prelim score of 279.05 was just off her season-best and gave her another Zone qualifier on the season.  Pelligra’s 244.90 bested her previous top mark of 241.58 set against Wyoming.  Colvin scored a 231.35, bettering the 226.20 in an earlier dual against North Texas and Western Colorado.  Rinon scored a 225.45, topping her 221.65 in the same dual meet.
