by Frank Mercogliano

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The University of New Mexico’s senior night game with nationally-ranked Washington State has been selected for broadcast on FS1 and it will kickoff at 7:30 pm.  The game marks UNM’s third game of the season on FS1.

The Lobos enter this week’s FS1 game on Friday night with San Diego State needing three wins to make a bowl game in Bronco Mendenhall’s first season as head coach.  The Cougars are ranked No. 20 in both polls.  The game will mark the first visit to University Stadium by a top-20 team since October 3, 2016 when No. 19 Boise State visited, and it will mark the first top-20 non-conference team to visit University Stadium since September 6, 2014 when Arizona State was ranked No. 17.

The last time a Top 20 team visited University Stadium in November or later was November 27, 2010 when No. 3 TCU came to UNM for the 2010 season finale.
