Lobos Continue Solid Play at GCU Hidden Duals
PHOENIX, Ariz. — The Lobos had another winning day in Phoenix, splitting it ssingles matches with Northern Arizona and then taking two of three doubles matches with Portland. The Lobos will finish the tournament tomorrow.
Georgio Samaha, Aram Noroozian and Philip Bosin each won for the second straight day in singles, with Samaha winning 6-0, 7-6, Noroozian 6-2, 6-2 and Bosin won 7-5, 6-3. In doubles, UNM nearly got a sweep, with Samaha and Noroozian teaming for a 6-2 win and Nicolas Recoura and Dario Ciobotaru won 6-3, with Connor Dils and Philip Bosin losing in a tiebreaker 9-7.
