Lobo Women’s Golf Concludes Fall Schedule at Jim West Challenge
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico women’s golf team will conclude its fall schedule this week with a trip to Texas for the Jim West Challenge. The event, hosted by Texas State, will be played Sunday and Monday at the 6,123 yard-par 72 Kissing Tree Golf Club in San Marcos.
The event features two rounds on Sunday and one round on Monday. Live scoring will be available on Scoreboard, with live streaming coverage each day on ESPN+.
The tournament will consist of a 12-team field, as New Mexico will play six top-50 foes in TCU, Houston, Ohio State, UNLV, Texas Tech and Oklahoma. Host Texas State, Nebraska, North Texas, Northern Illinois and UTSA round out the field.
New Mexico’s lineup for the event is Maria Garcia, Maria Caparros Levin, Annie Saechueng, Maria Garcia, Chelsea Truong and Rebecca Galasso.
The Lobos are playing in the Jim West Challenge for the fourth straight season, coming off a 11th place finish at last year’s event.
New Mexico is coming off the NB3 Match Play Championship, where the Lobos downed New Mexico State after losses to top-five foes Texas and Stanford.
