Plenty on Tap for Fans as UNM Hosts Fresno State on Saturday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There’s plenty on tap as the Lobos host Fresno State on Saturday at 6:35 pm at University Stadium in the conference opener for both teams.  Fans will went to get to the game early to enjoy all of the events in the free Howl Zone, and fans will definitely want to get a rare bobblehead of the Cherry On Top Balloon for UNM.

Here are all the events going on surrounding the game:

  • We Are New Mexico Celebration
  • Homecoming
  • Ring of Honor Induction of Robin Cole
  • Celebration of the 1964 WAC Championship team
  • Student Section Light Stick Giveaway (courtesy Howl Raisers)
  • Extra Yard for Teachers
  • Low Riders in the Howl Zone
  • The Cherry on Top UNM Balloon will be tethered in the parking lot
  • The first 2,500 fans will receive an amazing Cherry on Top UNM Balloon Bobble
  • There will be a fourth quarter light show synched to the Lobo App
  • Postgame Fireworks Show

With that, Bronco Mendenhall met the media on Monday to discuss last week’s game with Auburn and the 2024 conference opener with Fresno State.
