Lobos to Compete in 2024 Acrisure Classic

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The New Mexico men’s basketball team will compete in 2024 Acrisure Classic, the tournament announced Monday. The tournament will be held Nov. 28 and Nov. 29 at the Acrisure Arena in Palm Springs, Calif.

The Lobos will play Arizona State on Thanksgiving at 8:30 p.m. PT (9:30 p.m. MT), following the opening game between USC and Saint Mary’s at 6:00 p.m. PT. Thursday’s winners will play for the championship on Friday at 8:30 p.m. PT with the losers playing in the consolation game on Friday at 6:00 p.m. PT.

TNT Sports will televise the tournament, with the full television schedule of which Turner network will carry each game to be announced later this summer.

Tickets for the Acrisure Classic go on sale June 7, at 10:00 a.m. PT (11 a.m. MT) and will be available at the Acrisure Arena box office, online at acrisurearena.com and Ticketmaster.com, the official ticketing provider of Acrisure Arena. One ticket is admission for the entire day, and can be used to watch any and all games played in Acrisure Arena on that day.

As part of the Acrisure Classic, the tournament has also scheduled one home game for each team participating. The Lobos’ home game in the event will be against reigning SWAC Champion Grambling State, scheduled for The Pit on Thursday, November 21.
