First Annual Louie’s Held to Honor Lobo Student-Athletes
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The University of New Mexico Student-Athlete Support Staff held the First Annual Louie’s, a student-athlete-run awards ceremony that has been combined with the former UNM Academic Awards Banquet.
The ceremony was held on Monday, April 15 at the UNM Continuing Education Center Auditorium with a red carpet preshow and the Louie’s, hosted by KOB Sports Anchor Lauren Green.
Along with academic awards, student-athlete awards, voted on by the student-athletes, were presented for various categories from top moment to male and female athlete of the year.
